Both are incredibly expensive and both are marketed almost exclusively to the higher-end markets, leaving us 99-percenters out in the cold. For the better part of the last decade, if you wanted to enjoy your music and/or movie library in its full glory, complete with cover art, metadata and more, there were but two ready-made solutions: Meridian Sooloos for music and Kaleidescape for movies.
